The Village of Newhaven owners have joined with many residents of Fripp
Island in support of the F. I. Community Centre, the Franciscan Center and
Habitat for Humanity.
The Franciscan Center is grateful for clothing, food, household items, and
bedding. Habitat will pick up cabinets, furniture, building materials and
artwork to sell in their "re-store." The Community Centre has a White Elephant
sale every two years to raise funds for improvements and operation of the
Centre.
Please think of these worthwhile charities when your delivery of new
furnishings includes the removal of old refrigerators, bedding, etc. Some
delivery services will drop off your discarded items to the charity of your
choice.
